Accept it..... and move on!

I gave up trying to move this pic...My childhood friend Becky and her family came to visit from Vermont in February. They used to live in San Diego until a couple years ago. Aiden and Jackson had lots of fun hanging out together (they are 2 months apart) here they are helping Emmett fix his surf board... Jackson is sanding with a rubber ducky and I think Aiden tried to eat the sandpaper.... oh well

Anyways.....

I know I have been a blog slacker lately and that my last post started with an apology for being one. I will give no reason, no excuse, and no apology and instead have decided to accept and embrace my slacking so you will all have to do the same. .... just be thankful for when I actually decide to update our blog :)

Aiden is growing, changing, and learning each and every day. It feels like each day when I come home from work he is doing something new. Here is a list of some things he is doing.

1. His favorite toys are balls he especially loves throwing them.

2. He typically throws with his left hand- I know this may change but he seems to be a lefty right now... he will throw with his right... but the left is preferred (so is his left foot for kicking)

3. If he is not throwing a ball he is pushing something around. He has a wagon, a lawnmower( the plastic one that blows bubbles when you push it), big cars, his high chair, he pushes anything! We were even at Payless last weekend and he could push the benches with the mirrors on them!

4. He still eats everything! Lobster ravioli, eggplant, broccoli (usually w/cheese), anything we eat he will.... lately he has been obsessed with animal crackers.

5. He makes lots of animal noises... bow wow, a coo ka (for some reason this is a cat- don't ask), mmm (moo), quack quack, nnnnn (horse), breaths in and out of his nose for a rhinoceros, and makes a fish face.

6. He is able to sign, more, please, all done- and will do any combination of these to try and get what he wants.

7. He loves being outside and spends 90% of his day at a park, the zoo, beach, or in the backyard.

8. He has 6 teeth ( 2 this past week)

9. Loves books... will bring them all from his room to you so you can read to him.

10. Understands a ton... tell him time to brush his teeth- runs to the bathroom, time to change your diaper- goes to his changing table, outside- goes to the door, naptime- runs to his crib.. tell him no..... well we are still working on that :)

He is still a very happy little guy with lots of energy and a loud baby/man voice.... we are so lucky to have such a wonderful child!

Aiden's 1st finger painting experience.. the rest of the house has carpet so we decided the kitchen floor was best!
One of his favorite things to do... push his car (which was Emmett's when he was young)

Our friends from Northern CA came down for Superbowl weekend.... it was a bit rainy the Saturday before so we headed to the Science Museum... Aiden loved this fog!

Here is a video of Aiden and Jackson in Old Town enjoying some Mexican food and music! After they were done Jackson kept signing - More.... how cute!
